I'm also not a fan of the financing. I understand that it's what Power can do, and an unsecured loan has the benefit of not needing to be tied to the property, but the interest rates and terms are excessive and the full financial impact is easily missed”

“I am not satisfied with Power Home Remodeling. I've used them before. This time around, the roofers did not do a good job. They did a good job on the roof, but I just had new gutters put in with covers, and they were just installed last summer. One of them was leaking. They sent the same people back out, a guy and his wife. The 2nd time I reported it was leaking, they sent the same person. I told them I didn't want this company's subcontractors. I called and they said someone would be in touch. I went out for an errand on Monday, and sure enough, I got back about an hour later, and they were there, on the roof. They didn't call or anything first. I picked up some laundry, got the machine started, looked back out the door, and they were gone. I told them I would be with them in a few minutes. I got the machine started, and 10- 15 minutes later, they were gone, their truck gone, and they didn't say anything to me about whether they fixed the damage or anything. If that's the way the company does business, and they seemingly have a high reputation, I'm not satisfied. I told them explicitly. I know it's a good thing to give someone the opportunity to fix things. They knew from the start if it wasn't fixed right. They damaged the gutter in the front and actually replaced it. I don't know, maybe this company is not as good at gutters as they report to be. The new gutter leaked like a sieve, and I'm hoping this doesn't carry on. I told them explicitly that after that, I didn't want them to come back because they botched it in the first place. Not only the leak, but the aesthetic part of it. Powers quality control guy came over and found other defects with the way it was put in. I said I didn't want the same people coming back to work on these gutters, and that's exactly what they did. They sent the same people. I was supposed to get my warranty. I went online to download it, and it said nothing about it. They said I had a 50-year warranty, but there was no 50-year warranty on there. I need to call them and find out what's going on.”

So even though did purchase trimming. Which was told was also to high, i would not recommend power. I will be getting new siding but not with power and only because I want new color update.”
